Customer questions & answers
Question: If I build a base exactly 8' x 10' will that be big enough?
Answer: You would cover the width but the plastic floor length is 10' 1" so there would be some overhang in the front or back.
Question: What amount of wind can they withstand
Answer: The specifications state a wind tolerance slightly below hurricane-force, but I forget exactly. My shed made it intact through Hurricane Irma, without any strapping down or extra precautions.
Question: How long does it take to assemble?
Answer: I assembled on my own in about 4-5 hours. I assembled the door and roof parts the evening before the main build.
Question: Does anyone know how this would do with a snow load? I live in the mountains and we get a decent amount of snow every year.
Answer: I live in NY and got a couple heavy snow falls this past winter (15+ inches at a time). It handled it without any issue and seems to shed the snow easily so it won’t sit there forever.
